I should be doing law, or tidying my room. I will after this though.
Today's rowing was... ok.. We had races in the afternoon.. I was the finish post. And I messed up. Typical.
One race had finished following lots of blade clashing, and the two boats had pulled in after the finish line. Then the next race came up.. and one of the boats went straight into the one pulled in, despite shouts to hold it. Bah. I got sworn at. And I feel bad.
We've been fucking up the river all week. Like seriously, kept getting in everyone's way. I felt bad about that too.
Although I did fall FLAT on my face in front of two boats. That kinda makes up for it. *cringe*
Typical. I should have known that I couldn't coordinate reversing a bike and jogging backwards at the same time. It was rather funny though.
Brrr.. My bones still feel a tad cold. This week has been the coldest rowing I've ever experienced.. what with icicles all over the boat and ice forming on my splashjacket. Although I think it is wayyyy better than quite cold and wet rowing.
Have sent off some applications, FINALLY. But I'm going to get straight rejections. Which is fine, I guess. Should have actually done them sooner.. and I would suck at any interviews.
Which leads me back to... room and law. Things which need done.
I want to go hang out with people though. Still haven't decided which nights I'm gonna go out on.
I wish I wasn't such an idiot.
