Cults...

Yo.

Cults eh?
Watched that programme about the 'End of the World' cult last night.. And y'know.. it made me think about cults..
And cult. I can't decide if I should take a look in there or if it will just piss me off with its overpriced, overtrendy wares.

Sidenote: It is interesting, that when there are builders jackhammering the walls around me, I am actually more productive work-wise, then when there aren't... Explanation anyone?

Back to the subject of cults:
So if you were going to start a cult, what would your..uh.. rules? ideology? [cheesh.. I can't even think of what the correct term is..] be?

I haven't thought about this a lot.. Not on the same scale as My Super Duper Über Fort anyway.
But y'know I like to think I'd be reasonable enough not to predict The End Of The World within my lifetime. And I wouldn't be all creepy..
I'd have fun prophecies/rules.
Like.. we'd like shiiiiny things. And have frequent parties/music-listening-to-sessions/film watching. The general principle being to just loaf around and have fun.. The money to fund it would come from a.. uh.. hmm.. Somewhere. It would come from Somewhere. Definitely.
Main beliefs? Hmm.. To be nice to people and have fun.. just interacting with people.. y'know.. 'cos that's nice.. That probably stems from my like for sitting watching people.. like when you're in a cafe or something and you can see the people on the street.. And also that I love just hanging out.. There might be a slight problem I guess.. in that there would need to be some new people every so often.. so that the group didn't get bored and annoyed with each other.. but then.. the group couldn't be too big so that people didn't get to know each other... hmmm. Mathematical equation needed.

There would be cool nicknames too. And dressing up. And shiny things. And lots of messing about. But no pressure to do any work.
So actually, it would basically be university except with no need to do work [it could be done if you felt like it though] and with nicer facilities [paid for by the money from Somewhere].

Hmm.. The noise and dust is back so I'm gonna go be productive.. perhaps...
I'll get bored though and probably come back.. not that anyone cares. bah.
