Still 4R9

Yo.

Surprise surprise.. I still have too much work to do in too little time..

Aside from that..
I have lycra.
And although it is shockingly comfortable.. It is as hideously unflattering as expected.. Actually that's unfair.. it's not unflattering as such.. just brutally honest. And yet we are all considering going on a pub crawl/out for dinner in it anyway.. Odd..

yeah.. blah. Had a weird moment the other night when starey guy seemed to somehow recognise us and then proceeded to steal our food. I wasn't entirely sure that this had in fact happened.. but two other people have confirmed that it did so it must have.. unless there's something in the water.. Which I strongly suspect to be true anyway. It tastes funny.

Trying to think of stuff which is interesting enough to say is difficult. I give up.

Legal IT:

Time is money.
If you do job A for client 1 on Monday, and job A for client 2 on a Friday, client 2 can be charged more because you are more experienced in doing job A.
You can charge for time spent thinking about a case on the way to the coffee machine.
Time is divided into 0.1 hour bursts.. Meaning that somehow 20mins of work can be charged at the hourly rate.
A top QC can expect to charge £8/9000 an hour.

Those are just a few examples of what we were told about..
And they make me feel a bit sick.. like really, are those not kinda cuntish things to do? and who would pay that much?! Sigh. Might as well sell up soul now I guess. There's little chance of me ever getting to do what I want to anyhow.. Ho hum.

Argh. For all the work I got done last night I should have gone out out, not just to the bar. [Went for a quick drink.. ended up being there for hours] Although I'm not sure where I would have gone.. there were too many conflicting options. And the two main ones I had considered would probably have been inappropriate. Baah.

I'm not looking forward to being told I'm crap.. which is going to happen at least 3 times between now and 7pm tomorrow. v_v

~over and into the books for now.
